This is the third year for the Mountain Empire Challenge. We have another great lineup of races including some big changes coming for the Flint Mill Grind. The Flint Mill race has been pulled to the opposite side of the lake and renamed the Holston Grind. (See riversway.org for details.) The other races remain the same: The Mountain Do Triathlon in Marion,VA; the Clinch River Sprint in St. Paul, VA; and the Bristol Challenge in Bristol, TN. MEC points will be awarded for finishers in three categories: male solo, female solo and team relay. The events are kayaking/canoeing, cycling and running. Racers must participate is a minimum of three races in the series in order to qualify for the MEC.   For details and registration, visit the web site for each race. Come join us!
